From Nanjil Nadu
Nanjil Nadu is a historical region in the southernmost tip of India, located in the Kanyakumari district of Tamil Nadu. The name 'Nanjil Nadu' comes from the words "Nanjil" which means 'cool and pleasant' and "Nadu" which means 'land'. It was once a princely state, ruled by the Nanjil Nadu Kings who were the descendents of the Pandya Kings.
Nanjil Nadu is a unique and culturally rich region, known for its distinctive food, language, and customs. The cuisine of Nanjil Nadu is a blend of traditional Tamil Nadu and Kerala dishes, with a focus on seafood and vegetarian food. The people of Nanjil Nadu speak a unique dialect of Tamil called "Nanjil Tamil" which is known for its distinct accent and vocabulary.
